DEX Series brakes, capsule module with IP66 body protection and ZONE 1 and ZONE 21 are made suitable for hazardous environments. They are explosion-proof and non-flammable brake systems that are activated in controlled or uncontrolled power cuts with the capsule module contained in the Spring Operated Brake (YBF), compliant with IEC flange and shaft standards, can be easily mounted to the motor or reducer with 4 bolts around it. It is used to hold the moving shafts in the desired position for safe operation and to stop the rotational inertia.
